About Us

A small studio in Yishun, building websites for small shops.

We're Ruby Germaine Skymax Studio — a tight-knit web studio set up right here in Yishun Central. We grew up next door to the kind of shopfronts you see on the way to the wet market: provision shops, hair salons, kopitiams, family clinics, traditional medicine halls.

For too long, those businesses have been told a real website costs $5,000 or more. So they end up with a Facebook page and call it a day — losing customers to slicker-looking competitors. We started this studio to fix that.

No. We just don't carry the overheads big agencies do — no fancy office, no junior account managers, no padded change-orders. We give SMEs the same quality of work, minus the fluff. The same templates and tools we use for a $500 build are what bigger studios charge $5,000 for.
Four core pages that cover everything a small business needs: Homepage (clear statement of who you are, what you do, prominent call-to-action), About (your story and mission, builds trust), Services/Products (a clear breakdown of what you offer), and Contact (form, email, social links).

We handle the design (logo placement, brand colour palette, easy-to-read fonts), write concise engaging copy, and source visuals that match your brand. Your site rides on our collective shared hosting — so you save the cost of buying separate hosting just to get online.

3 edits included before we go live. Need to refine further? Additional edits are $15 each, or upgrade to the Bespoke tier — fully custom, quoted from your project checklist.
For Starter and Essential builds: typically 5–10 working days from when you send us your content. Bespoke builds with custom design take 2–3 weeks. We don't drag projects.
The $185/yr Standard Renewal covers your .com.sg or .sg domain, your business email mailbox, and the SSL certificate that keeps your site secure (the little padlock in the browser). It's the bundle that keeps your site live and trusted on Google.
Only if you want your own standalone cPanel hosting environment — full file access, multiple email accounts, databases, custom server settings. The $225/yr Full Bundle includes everything in the Standard Renewal (domain, email, SSL) plus standalone cPanel hosting. Most small retail shops don't need this — we'll be upfront about whether you do.
We handle all updates for you — no clunky editor for you to learn.

Starter ($500) includes 3 edits before go-live. Bespoke (custom-quoted) allows up to 5 full edit versions of the whole site — unlimited pages can be discussed during planning, but once you sign off on the layout, page structure is locked (content within pages can still change). Bespoke pricing is built from your answers in our project checklist.

After launch, we offer a $30/month maintenance plan covering 3 edits per month, or pay-as-you-go at $15 per edit with no commitment.
Every site we ship has the basics right: clean markup, fast load, mobile-first, proper page titles, Google Business listing setup on request. SEO results depend on your industry and competition — anyone promising "guaranteed page one" is selling smoke.
Yes — we add a product catalogue and a basic checkout on the Bespoke tier or above. For larger inventories or specific payment gateways (Stripe, HitPay, PayNow API), we quote separately based on scope.
Send us the URL on WhatsApp. We'll do a free 24-hour audit — broken pages, slow load, mobile bugs — and give you a flat-fee quote to either fix what's there or rebuild from scratch, whichever makes more sense.
It's optional, and most clients add it after launch when they realise they want regular updates without thinking about it. For $30/month, you get site monitoring, security patches, backups, and 3 edits per month — perfect for swapping in seasonal promotions, updating opening hours, adding new staff, or refreshing photos. Additional edits beyond three are $15 each.

We also offer feedback & enquiry management if you'd rather not handle customer messages yourself — we triage and reply on your behalf. Pricing is $50–$200/month depending on the volume of messages your site receives.
Yes — PayNow, bank transfer, or cheque. 50% to start, 50% on go-live. Invoice issued under our registered Singapore entity for your records.
Yes, fully. Domain is in your name, files are yours, content is yours. If you ever want to leave us and move elsewhere — no lock-in, no ransom. We'd rather you stay because you want to.
